Brian Don Levy - Attorney - Mediator
Brian Don Levy was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1973 and continues to refine and expand his ADR techniques including Family Law Mediation and Collaborative Practice. He has been providing Alternate Dispute Resolution Services since 1978, and currently serves on the ADR panel of the Los Angeles County Superior Court approved Civil and Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators. He was trained in the Collaborative Practice by the International Academy Of Collaborative Professionals as well as other collaborative groups, and is a member in good standing with the I.A.C.P. (International Academy of Collaborative Professionals), L.A.C.F.L.A. (Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association) C.D.S.O.C. (Collaborative Divorce Solutions Orange County), CPCAL (Collaborative Practice California) and C.D.P.I.E. (Collaborative Divorce Professionals of the Inland Empire). Mr. Levy is a proud member of the Board of Directors of LACFLA and the Board of Directors of CDSOC. Mr. Levy is also a proud member of the Collaborative Divorce Education Institute Training Team, and the LACFLA Training Faculty where he dedictes himself to helping to raise up a new generation of Peacemakers and Collaborative professionals.
Mr. Levy has provided collaborative and mediation training services for other collaborative professionals, mediators and organizations such as L.A.C.F.L.A., C.A.M.F.T. As a psychotherapist in clinical practice, I have worked with divorcing couples and their children since 1983 and am one of the founding members of Collaborative Divorce Solutions Orange County. My professional mission statement, which is to assist as many people as possible heal and empower themselves, comes to fruition in the collaborative divorce process, which is based on mutual respect and alleviating the current and future trauma common in divorce. I have extensive training in collaborative divorce, mediation, domestic violence, chemical dependency and trauma recovery and for ten years I served as an associate professor of Human Services at Saddleback College training prospective counselors, therapists and others pursuing professions in human services.
